ProPay and credit cards

Hey everyone. As most of you know, for Gold Canyon and Cookie Lee, I am now able to accept credit cards as payment. I have chosen to go through a company called ProPay. ProPay is like Paypal in many ways. It is the company I have chosen to create an online account with, where I can accept credit cards as payment for both of my businesses. I did have the option of opening credit card acceptance accounts through both Gold Canyon and Cookie Lee, but setting up 2 accounts for 2 businesses was way out of my budget, and I have found that this one account, is much less expensive.
The reason why I bring this up, is because a valued customer of mine placed an order with me, to which I sent her an email invoice through ProPay. She saw the email, but thought it was fraudulent, so she deleted it. I'm glad that this was brought up, so I can let everyone know that it is ok to use this company's link to pay me by credit card. This is a secure website, and you can feel safe in entering your credit card information. I have also added on my order form a note that reads:
"If you are paying with a credit card, I will email you an invoice with a secure link to enter your credit card information. This email will be from "customerservice@propay.com" with the subject title "Payment Request from jarsiat@yahoo.com". "
Hopefully knowing the sender and subject information will let everyone know that it is an invoice from me, and that it is legit. If anyone would like to view the privacy policy for ProPay, please feel free to visit www.ProPay.com to learn more.
One interesting thing that I have learned about entering your credit card information online is that when you are on the screen where you are required to enter any personal information at all - whether it be credit card info, social security etc. - if the URL at the top reads https:// rather than the normal http://, it's a secure site. (That's the way it is for ProPay
I just wanted to reassure everyone that if you place an order with me, and you receive an email invoice described above, it is from me, and it is secure. If for any reason you would still rather not use the link, but would still like to pay by credit card, you can call me with the number, or if you feel comfortable emailing it to me, you can do that too, and I will enter it in to ProPay for you. I do NOT keep customer credit card information at all, even upon request. It gets shredded or deleted as soon as it is entered. (ProPay does not store your credit card information either).
